Bryn Harris

Background

Hi, I’m Bryn. Reaching out for support isn’t easy - it can feel vulnerable, scary, and uncertain. If you’re here, I want you to know you don’t have to figure things out alone.

A little about me: outside of therapy, I’m someone who loves puzzles and games of all kinds, from board games and cozy video games (Sagrada and Animal Crossing are favourites) to knitting or crochet projects on the couch while watching delightfully cheesy action movies. I love traveling and noticing the small, meaningful details that make each place unique. Pop culture and storytelling have always been a big part of my world, and you might find me wandering through Artists Alley at Comic Con, soaking in people’s creativity and passion.

Because stories matter so much to me, they naturally show up in my work as a therapist. The stories we carry - about ourselves, our relationships, and the world - shape how we move through life. Sometimes those stories empower us, and sometimes they leave us feeling stuck, ashamed, or disconnected.

Therapeutic Approach

If you’re trying to understand yourself more deeply, untangle old patterns, or loosen the weight of shame and expectations placed on you by others, therapy can be a space to gently explore all of that. My goal is to create a space that feels supportive, collaborative, and non-judgmental - where you can show up exactly as you are.

I believe you are the expert in your own life. My role is to walk alongside you as we explore the patterns and experiences that have shaped you, keeping what supports you and gently reworking what no longer does. Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, and we can shape the process in ways that feel right for you. Some days talking is enough. Other days, we might go for a walk, color, fidget, or bring in something creative to help you express yourself.

As someone who is neurodivergent, I deeply value flexibility, authenticity, and meeting people where they are. My work is primarily grounded in person-centred and narrative therapy, viewed through a queer-affirming and social justice lens - with a touch of humour, curiosity, and warmth along the way.

My availability can be found here.
