Background

First and foremost, I want to meet and connect with you as a person. I know therapy can feel intimidating or even a little weird at first—that’s completely normal. My goal is to make it feel like a real conversation, not an interrogation.

You might be questioning parts of yourself—your relationships, your identity, or the roles you’ve been expected to play. Maybe things that once felt clear no longer do, or you’re trying to figure out what actually feels right for you. You don’t have to navigate that alone. I work collaboratively with you to better understand what’s been shaping your experiences and to create change that feels honest and authentic to who you are.
Outside of therapy, I’m a singer, actor, and writer. I love creating short stories and songs in my free time and unwinding with video games (I’m a sucker for an open world RPG—but don’t hit me with Dark Souls, I WILL absolutely rage quit).

Growing up in Vietnam with a Western education, my immigration journey and bicultural background shape how I understand identity, cultural shifts, and the complexities of navigating different worlds. This informs my work with clients exploring relationships, life transitions, intergenerational experiences, sexuality, and identity.

Therapeutic Approach

My approach is grounded in curiosity, collaboration, and respect for your lived experience. I draw from narrative and person-centred therapy, alongside trauma-informed and anti-oppressive frameworks, to help you explore your story in a way that feels meaningful and empowering.

I also integrate elements from approaches like CBT, IFS, and Emotion-Focused Therapy when helpful, always adapting our work to fit you rather than the other way around.

I want to acknowledge that who I am and where I come from shapes how I see the world and practice therapy. I am a Vietnamese queer, cis-gender woman living and learning on unceded, ancestral, and occupied, traditional lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Səl̓ílwətaʔ (Tsleil-Watuth), Stó:lō, Shíshálh (Sechelt) and Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish) Nations of the Coast Salish peoples.
I look forward to meeting you and supporting you in creating authentic and sustainable change.
